Over the last few days, there has been an uptick in popular artists rapping over popular beats. Like the mixtape days of the 2000s, Polo G, Lil’ Yachty and several others have tried their hands at the beats that have dominated the Billboard Hot 100 charts recently. However, no one is doing it quite like Deante’ Hitchcock. Taking things back, the Atlanta artist rapped over Outkast’s iconic “Roses” instrumental.
“How could I relate to n*ggas that’s thinkin’ I’m underrated/When my momma think I made it up off of these songs/How could I mistake a n*gga that’s sayin’ I’m underrated with hate,” he raps.
“Like they ain’t been playing my sh*t all along/Why would I debate with n*ggas on Twitter/Bout how much realer my sh*t is than them other n*ggas lyin’ in songs.”
This is not the first freestyle he’s put together recently. During the last few weeks, Deante Hitchock has rapped over “What’s Next” by Drake, “Let The Beat Build” by Lil’ Wayne and several other tracks. These releases all add to his #NewAtlantaTuesdays series that will seemingly lead to a new project. Check out the freestyle below and be on the lookout for more new music from the Atlanta native in the coming days.
