All good things must come to an end, including great Netflix series. After two seasons, Netflix has set the release date for the third and final season of Dead To Me starring Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini.
“A hit-and-run started it all for Jen and Judy. Now another shocking crash alters the future of their ride-or-die friendship. All roads have led to this,” the trailer’s description reads.
“There’s always a way out.”
Finishing the final season of Dead To Me has not been easy. Not only did the show face production delays throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, but one of the show’s leading ladies, Christina Applegate, has battled with multiple sclerosis while filming the past two seasons. Despite her medical setbacks, Applegate told the New York Times that she had an “obligation” to Liz Feldman to finish filming Dead To Me.
“The powers that be were like, ‘Let’s just stop. We don’t need to finish it. Let’s put a few episodes together.’ I said, ‘No. We’re going to do it, but we’re going to do it on my terms,’” she said.
Throughout the series, her Dead To Me co-star, Linda Cardellini, has helped her get through the show’s filming schedule.
“She was my champion, my warrior, my voice,” she said about her co-star.
“It was like having a mama bear.”
Together, Cardellini and Applegate have reached the finish line. Season three of Dead to Me will debut on Netflix on November 17, 2022.
