It’s about that time! Ryan Garcia and Gervonta “Tank” Davis have met their contractual obligations and they are ready to meet in the ring tonight at T-Mobile Arena. With that said, GTD Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions, DAZN and Showtime have put together a number of great fights that will provide a runway for the main event.
Preliminary bouts will begin at 6 p.m. EST at T-Mobile Arena. Airing live on Showtime Sports’ YouTube channel, the preliminary event will feature Vito Mielnicki Jr., a super middleweight prospect from New Jersey. Mielnicki last fought on January 8, 2023 in Washington, D.C. as part of the Gervonta Davis-Hector Luis Garcia undercard. The 154-pound fighter stopped Omar Rosales in the fourth round of a 10-round bout, earning his 14th pro victory. Alongside Mielnicki Jr., Fiodor Czerkaszyn will fight Elias Espadas. Based in Warsaw, Poland, Czerkaszyn is a 27-year-old prospect with a record of 22-0 with 13 knockouts. After spending the majority of his career in Europe, he made his U.S. debut in August 2022. In two U.S. bouts, he has earned a unanimous decision victory against Nathaniel Gallimore and a TKO victory against Gilbert Venegas Jr.
Main card bouts will begin at 8 p.m. EST. Leading up to the main event, fans can expect to see WBA “Regular” Super Middleweight Champion David Morrales along with middleweight prospect Elijah Garcia and super middleweight contender Bektemir Melikuziev. According to Michael Benson of TalkSport in the United Kingdom, Gervonta “Tank” Davis and Ryan Garcia are expected to make their way to the ring at 11 p.m. EST. Shortly thereafter, the highly-anticipated fight will begin.
Gervonta Davis vs Ryan Garcia main event ring walk start time is expected for around 4am UK time tonight (11pm ET/8pm PT), according to DAZN.
