According to Rolling Stone, Top Dawg Entertainment President Dave Free has left the music imprint to begin working on his own venture. Free has reportedly been working independently for some time now. In recent months, he’s worked to promote the work of Baby Keem. In addition, Free has also talked about entering into the film industry.
Free is well known as the President of Top Dawg Entertainment. During his impressive run in the music industry, Free has worked with T.D.E’s best including SZA, ScHoolboy Q and more. Years later, Free introduced Lamar to Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith after playing his music for him.
In addition to becoming a respected music executive, Free is also known as a talented producer. T.D.E producer Sounwave said, “Dave has one of the best ears for finding samples that nobody would ever ever listen to.”
