Legendary comedian Dave Chapelle will host a highly-anticipated post-election Saturday Night Live special on November 7. Chappelle will follow a long line of high-profile hosts this season including Issa Rae, Bill Burr and Chris Rock. While Chappelle will host, it is unclear who will join the Maryland native as a musical guest. Previously, H.E.R. and Megan Thee Stallion have taken over the Saturday Night Live stage.
In 2016, Chappelle hosted the comedy sketch show for the first time. Last December, he hosted the show for the second time. This time around, he was joined by fellow comedic legend Eddie Murphy.
Given this week’s election, it appears that the legendary comedian will have more than enough material to work with for his hosting gig. He will take the stage on November 7 at 11:30 p.m.
