Amid a season in which the Atlanta Falcons endured numerous low points, the recent successes of the team appear to have brought some stability. This morning, the Falcons confirmed that the jobs of Head Coach Dan Quinn and General Manager Thomas Dimitroff are secure, despite the speculation that they were in the hot seat for the failings of the franchise.
Falcons Owner Arthur Blank features in a video the team posted on Twitter explaining his rationale for retaining his staff:

The Falcons began the season 3-9 but have sustained a three-game winning streak, including a win over the NFC West-leading San Francisco 49ers, handing the Niners only their third loss of the season in Week 15.
Having served as Head Coach of the Falcons since 2015, Dan Quinn led his squad to a Super Bowl appearance in 2017, but will now miss the playoffs for the second consecutive season. Despite the on-field inconsistency of the Falcons this season, an off-field victory for the Falcons organization was the extension signed by star wide receiver Julio Jones in September, dedicating the next three years of his career to staying in Atlanta, a key figure for the Falcons as Dan Quinn will look to turn the team’s fortunes around next season.
