After dropping nine albums and selling more than 20 million records worldwide, Cypress Hill still has something to say. In a surprise announcement, the legendary group revealed that they are preparing to release their 10th studio album, Back In Black, on March 18, 2022. To get fans going, Cypress Hill teamed up with Dizzy Wright to drop “Bye Bye.”
“I think with this song, it’s a statement where – in a roundabout way – we speak to the politics of today. That we’re being lulled into this dreamworld. To try to blind us from the separation that the politicians and government create. Trying to put us to sleep and while we’re in this sleep state of unawareness they do whatever they want,” B-Real of Cypress Hill told StereoBoard.com about the track.
Cypress Hill is not only dropping new music, but the group is also hitting the road. Not long ago, the group announced that it would be joining Slipknot’s Knotfest Roadshow Tour in May and June. Together, the two groups will make stops in Brooklyn, Cincinnati, Seattle, Toronto, Montreal and several other major cities. Those looking to see Cypress Hill on the road this summer can begin grabbing their tickets now.
