This year, Coco Jones has taken things to new heights as an all-around entertainer. A decade ago, she was known as one of the leading stars of Disney’s Let It Shine. Now, she plays the role of Hilary Banks on Peacock’s Bel-Air. In addition, she is also one of the fastest rising stars over at Def Jam Recordings. Today, Def Jam and Coco Jones tapped in with Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor to deliver the highly-anticipated visual for her lead single, “Caliber.”
“Get on my caliber/Come get on my caliber/You built like a C.E.O/Then you gotta work me up,” she sings over Bongo and Eric Hudson’s production.
“Can you get me leveled up?/Put you on my calendar/Come fit in my schedule/If you ain’t gone come correct, don’t come at all.”
Coco Jones isn’t done with “Caliber” just yet. She’s also issued a challenge to her TikTok followers. Just a few weeks ago, she allowed her followers to add a verse to the sultry single and the submissions have come flying in. Thus far, an artist by the name of Røze has caught Coco Jones’ eye. Also, Chris Patrick’s “Caliber” verse has managed to pull in nearly as many views as the original call for remixes. Needless to say, Coco Jones has her fair share of submissions to pick from.
While Coco Jones decides who she’ll put on the remix, check out the “Caliber” video right here.
