
Legendary actress Cicely Tyson is set to return for the final season of ABC’s How To Get Away With Murder. Tyson will reprise her role as Ophelia Harkness, the mother of Annalise Keating played by Viola Davis. She has already earned three Emmy nominations for her role in the series.
Anne-Marie Johnson will also join the cast as a recurring character. Johnson will play the role of Kendra Strauss, the attorney for Michaela Pratt as portrayed by Aja Naomi King.
Tyson and Johnson will join a star studded cast that includes Viola Davis, Aja Naomi King, Billy Brown, Jack Falahee and many others. Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers and Stephen Cragg will continue to executive produce the series.
How To Get Away With Murder will continue its sixth and final season this Thursday on ABC at 10 p.m. EST.
