
Chris Patrick has announced that his sophomore album, X-Files, will be released on August 10, 2022.
“I [don’t] think y’all understand how amazing this project is [going to] be. [I’m definitely going to] turn a lot of folks into fans,” he wrote on Twitter after sharing the news.
The New Jersey native’s announcement is not a major surprise to those who have been following him on social media. Following the release of his Lost Files EP, the rising artist took to social media to share a few videos of himself working on new music. Along with these videos, the New Jersey creative authored a pair of exciting captions.
“[The] next project [is] loading,” he wrote on Instagram.
“[Something about] these raps feels different than the norm,” he added two days later.
Chris Patrick hasn’t shared the cover art or track list for the project just yet, but the announcement is enough to keep his fans and peers satisfied. Femdot, Sandy Benjamin and Topaz Jones are just a few of the artists who have expressed excitement for the upcoming LP. Now, it’s time to sit back and wait for the music to arrive in due time.
