Chris Brown enlists Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy and the trio get influenced by New Orleans Bounce on Wobble Up.
The late Magnolia Shorty’s song Monkey On The D*ck gets a 2019 makeover. Chris Brown uses Magnolia Shorty’s distinct voice to open up the track and continues dropping her original vocals throughout. The entire song samples Magnolia Shorty’s 1997 release.
On Wobble Up Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj and G-Eazy get straight to the point. Chris Brown takes the first verse, singing in usual fashion about being superior to any woman’s ex. He also takes over the repetitive hook.
Nicki Minaj takes the second verse and delivers a fun, sing-song rap verse. G-Eazy brings his California style to the song’s third verse. Chris Brown hops on with one more verse to close the track. The energetic song hopes to inspire listeners to wobble up, twerking and with the Magnolia Shorty New Orleans Bounce bass, dancing seems irresistible.
