Long Island’s Chow Lee is planning to release his new album on Friday, July 19. Setting the stage for the new project, he unveiled the official video for his new single, “Practice.” Pairing Cash Cobain’s signature production with playfully sensual wordplay, the New York native creates another Sexy Drill anthem for the summer. The 5th Ave Films-led visual takes the track to new heights as Chow Lee gets into his acting bag. Recreating Allen Iverson’s iconic, yet deeply emotional 2002 press conference, the “Practice” rapper answers questions.
“So, Justin, do you feel like girls that practice are better candidates than those that don’t?” the reporter asks.
“You’re talking [about] practice? Like, seriously? Like, we could be talking….we could be talking about anything else. We could be talking about sex, [but] we’re sitting here talking [about] practice. I’m the sexiest n—a alive, but we’re sitting here talking about practice. Why am I hear anyway? Ask me better questions,” he answers.
“Practice” adds to a growing list of Sexy Drill anthems to hit the streets this summer. “Fisherrr,” “Rump Punch,” “Dunk Contest” and several other tracks are making their way through the city of New York and across the world. While nothing seems to be unseating Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” on the “Song of the Summer” charts, but it’s clear that New York has found its sound.
