Georgia native Chidi “Chi Chi” Osondu has locked in a deal with Universal Music Publishing. At Universal Music Publishing, the talented producer will join the likes of SZA, H.E.R, Chris Brown and Mariah Carey.
“I’ve been working hard for a while now and have been able to make great strides. I am excited to get started with my new supportive team at UMPG and create history one record at a time,” he said about his new deal.
Raised in Georgia, the Nigerian-American producer has made his name by working with some the best artists in the greater Atlanta area. Through the years, he’s worked on “Both Sides” with Gucci Mane, “On Me” with Lil’ Baby and “No Fentanyl/Camera Roll” with Rylo Rodriguez. Not to mention, he was the driving force behind BRS Kash’s “Throat Baby.” Having had success with a wide variety of artists in his area, Universal is certain that this partnership will take his music to the next level.
“UMPG is happy to be partnering with rising creator Chi Chi. He already sees success with hits like Lil Baby’s ‘On Me,’ and we are confident he will become one of the industry’s most sought-after producers,” Walter Jones of UPMG added.
The future certainly looks bright for the rising Georgia native.
