Comedian Chelsea Handler will return to host the Critics’ Choice Awards on the CW in January.
“I am very happy and excited to be hosting the Critics Choice Awards again this year, as last year was one of the most fun nights I’ve had,” Handler said.
“There is no greater reward than making fun of actors and then getting drunk with them afterward. It’s an honor.”
Handler took over hosting duties for the first time in 2023 after Taye Diggs elected to step away from the gig. In 2024, she’ll rejoin Bob Bain Productions and Berlin Entertainment, who will executive produce the ceremony.
Nominations for next year’s Critics’ Choice Awards are still being worked out. For those voting on the television categories, ballots were turned in today and nominations will be revealed on December 5. For those working within the movie categories, ballots will be turned in December 8 and nominations will be revealed on December 15.
Handler and other guest presenters will be on hand in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, January 14, 2024 to announce the forthcoming slate of winners.
