The creative teams behind both Charlie’s Angels and Bionic Woman will be teaming up for a new comic book series. Led by Dynamite Entertainment, the new series will feature Charlie’s Angels and Bionic Woman in an epic showdown. In the comic book series, Charlie’s Angels will run into Bionic Woman after being tasked with returning a patent to its vendor. Who will win? Who knows?
The series will be written by Cameron DeOrdio with art from Soo Lee. In addition, colorist Addison Duke and letterer Tom Napolitano will work on the new comic book series. In a statement, DeOrdio said, “Charlie’s Angels/Bionic Woman is a story about good people trying to do good things who end up at cross purposes.” He added, “We’ve made a spy comic, with sneaking around, exotic ’80s tech and tense undercover infiltration, but it’s also about questioning the track you find yourself on and defining for yourself what’s right.”
The upcoming comic book series will debut in July. A few months later, Charlie’s Angels is set to return to theaters with a new cast on November 19th.
