During the dry period of professional sports in America, Kyrie Irving has so graciously provided bunches of interesting content for the internet to consume. As is now known, Irving requested a trade from the team that has taken him to three straight championships and simultaneously awoken a slew of sleeping hot takes about the scoring guard. According to ESPN’s Pablo Torre on First take, Irving once again has a shocking opinion in wanting to “very badly” join the New York Knicks.
“I got a phone call and the voice on the other end of that phone call is a trustworthy person and he was saying to me that Kyrie Irving very badly wants to be a New York Knick. Kyrie Irving wants to come home.”
Adding to this sudden controversy, The Cleveland Cavaliers have also not been able to contact Irving according to Jason Lloyd of the The Athletic.
“Not talking to anyone from the organization”
“Said enough already,”
Kyrie has just recently returned from a trip to China but it has to be increasingly concerning for Cavaliers fans that he refuses to even take a call from management. I’m sure this saga won’t be resolved any time soon. Long live the offseason.
