Carlos Delfino is set to sign with the Houston Rockets for the next two seasons. Although not the player the Rockets were hoping to land this off-season, Delfino is a serviceable swing-man that will fit nicely into the Rockets system. Fresh off a strong showing at the London Olympic Games, Delfino will sign a two-year contract with the second year of the deal being a team option.
Delfino, who has spent the past three seasons with the Milwaukee Bucks, joins Houston not long after they amnestied his Argentinian teammate, Luis Scola. Last season with the Bucks he averaged 9 points per game and 3.4 rebounds in 28.5 minutes.
