Well, that escalated quickly. The Carolina Panthers have traded wide receiver Robbie Anderson to the Arizona Cardinals for a 6th-round pick and a 7th-round pick, according to reports from Ian Rapoport from NFL Network and Adam Schefter from ESPN.

On Sunday, Anderson had a discussion with interim head coach Steve Wilks and was ejected by the coach and sent to the locker room while the team was losing to the Los Angeles Rams.
In addition, the Cardinals get a weapon that is needed right now after Marquise Brown left the game against the Seahawks with a foot injury. It is a potential season-ending injury but the team is still doing more tests to determine the extent of the injury.
The Cardinals will have two new receivers for next week available, as DeAndre Hopkins will finish his suspension, that should helped them to get some wins after a rocky start.
Anderson is still owed $700,000 left on his 2022 salary and he is under contract for 2023 with a salary and roster bonus combined of almost $12 million but it’s not guaranteed.
In the current season, he has 13 receptions for 206 yards and one touchdown.
