“The Book of Hov” exhibit at the Brooklyn Public Library is here to stay! On Friday, the library announced that the exhibit would remain until the fall. However, the social media account representing the exhibit did not provide a specific date.
“Brooklyn’s Finest is coming to the Library! #TheBookofHOV, a tribute exhibition, celebrates the life & work of Shawn ‘JAY-Z’ Carter. Visit Central Library to experience this free, immersive installation, featuring never-before-seen art & ephemera,” a tweet from the Brooklyn Public Library reads.
“We’re thrilled to share #TheBookOfHOV exhibit will run until October. Stop by any time this summer to see this free exhibit, or plan your visit for the fall.”
Curated by Jay-Z’s team at Roc Nation, the exclusive exhibit features key artifacts chronicling his legendary music career, including handwritten lyrics, setlists from previous tours and the recreation of the iconic Baseline Studios. The exhibit debuted earlier this month with a special ceremony honoring the entertainment mogul. Gloria Carter, Beyoncé, Blue Ivy, Roc Nation CEO Desiree Perez and many others were in attendance for the opening ceremony.
