The Broccoli City Music Festival has always been more than a day or two of live performances. In 2019, the team behind the DMV event put together a multi-day seminar leading up to their music festival. In addition, Broccoli City Music Festival has hosted 5K running events for charity, online panels discussing the COVID-19 vaccine and fundraisers for communities in need. Now, they’re taking things to the next level with their internship program. Open to college students in the DMV area, Broccoli City will help young entrepreneurs learn about event production, public relations, marketing and much more.
“We are looking to connect with and inspire the young professionals of today in an authentic and purposeful way,” Broccoli City wrote on Instagram.
“Help us GROW through our new internship program, BC University, we aim to build up students professionally through hands-on experience and mentorship. Students will gain experience in event production, marketing, technical skills (coding, web development, UX/UI), graphic design, public relations and much more.”
Broccoli City’s “BC University” is currently available to students in the DMV area and those who can contribute virtually. And yes, it is a paid internship program. For those eligible to apply, applications are available and will be due September 19. Check out the Broccoli City website for more information.
