Over the holiday weekend, FX put on a show with a number of big announcements and teasers for the return of Atlanta and Snowfall in early 2022. Not to mention, Marvel and Disney continue to make noise with their Hawkeye finale and the continued success of Spider-Man: No Way Home. With all that happened, Netflix refused to be forgotten. Closing out the holiday weekend, the streaming giant rolled out the first teaser for the new season of Bridgerton.
“Bridgerton premiered one year ago today – Happy Anniversary, dear readers. To commemorate the occasion, Lady Whistledown has gotten her readers a very special gift: Bridgerton Season 2 shall premiere on March 25th, 2022,” the teaser’s description reads.
News of the show’s return comes one month after Shonda Rhimes and company completed filming overseas. Despite numerous COVID-19 related setbacks, the cast was able to complete their work and set themselves up for a season four renewal as well.
“So proud of this cast and crew who brought their A-games to work each and every day in this very challenging year,” executive producer Chris Van Dusen tweeted.
