Bravo has announced that its fan fest, BravoCon, will not move forward as previously scheduled.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing BravoCon 2021 until next year,” the network stated.
“We are just as disappointed as our loyal fans to have to cancel this year’s event, but health and safety are our top priorities. We look forward to celebrating BravoCon 2022 together.”
The COVID-19 pandemic continues to shake everyday activities across the globe. On Saturday, the U.S. recorded more than 100,000 new COVID-19 cases in 24 hours for the first time since winter. Moving forward, Chief White House Medical Adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci predicts that America could record anywhere between 100,000 and 200,000 new COVID-19 cases. Thus far, reports suggest that the recent spike in new COVID-19 cases is largely driven by the spread of the delta variant of COVID-19. To combat against the spread of the delta variant, certain cities are requiring customers to receive a vaccination before eating at an indoor restaurant and the federal government is requiring all members of the military to be vaccinated.
