If you haven’t been watching, Westside Boogie has been delivering freestyle after freestyle after freestyle this year. He’s rapper over “Whoopty” by CJ, “Said Sum” by Moneybagg Yo, “Do 4 Love” by Tupac and “Coochie” by YN Jay just to name a few. Not to mention, he hopped on the LVRN Cypher with 6LACK and OMB Bloodbath. Now, he’s back to celebrate his birthday with another freestyle.
Ringing in his birthday the right way, the LVRN lyricist rhymed over an upbeat soundscape with a reflective tone. As always, the California native delivered bars that make you think and make you laugh at times.
“What’s a fight when it was titans that I sparred? That’s how I ended up with lightning in a jar, you gon’ die behind a bar, the devil tried to scratch my body with his claws, I ain’t notice, thought that sh*t was a massage,” he rapped.
For months, Boogie has been teasing a new album, but nothing has come out just yet. While we wait for his next project, check out “Glory of the God” below.
