Any listener would be hard pressed to find a young artist that is more honest, vulnerable and relatable than LVRN’s Westside Boogie. From rapping about failed relationships to maintaining connections with friends, the California native has never been one to shy away from bearing his soul over a drum patter or a few 808s. His latest track, “Contradictions,” is a great example of his ability to let listeners in on his deepest thoughts.
“I’ve done showed my true colors. You’ve broken down every pigment. I’m always matching and mixing. My patterns are never consistent. I almost thought you were trying and that’s what has got me conflicted. You know you are contradiction. That’s what has me conflicted,” he raps.
“Contradictions” is the latest in a long string of releases from the LVRN lyricist this year. Throughout the year, he’s delivered a number of freestyles, but he’s released a few original records recently. Not long ago, he dropped a live performance of “Float.” Now, fans can enjoy “Contradictions.”
The release date for Westside Boogie’s next project still remains a mystery, but this will certainly hold fans over in the meantime.
