Not long ago, Nick Young entered Crypto.com Arena as a member of the Los Angeles Lakers. This summer, he’ll enter the venue as a boxer. Yes, you read that correctly. On July 30, former NBA star Nick Young will reportedly participate in a boxing match with none other than Blueface.
Nick Young has never participated in a boxing match prior to this event. However, Blueface previously participated in an exhibition match hosted by the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship. The California rapper won the match, but his victory was marred by an altercation that ensued immediately after the bout.
At this time, it is unclear if the California State Athletic Commission will sanction the bout as an amateur or professional contest. Furthermore, organizers have not determined how many rounds the bout will set for.
Blueface and Nick Young are not the only stars who will enter the ring on July 30, 2022 at Crypto.com Arena. Former NFL running back Le’Veon Bell is also set to fight an undetermined opponent. Headlining the event, social media influencers Austin McBroom and AnEsonGib will square off in a six-round professional bout.
