Neil Olshey has created a supremely talented roster that doubles as the youngest in the league. Fighting to get the 8th seed this season and looking great after trading for Jusuf Nurkic and a 1st round pick, The Blazers future is bright under Olshey. In a later report, Wojnarowski discussed a few other GM’s in the Hawks sights.

Other candidates, who’ve been given permission by their teams to talk with Atlanta, include Houston VP of basketball operations Gersson Rosas and New York director of player personnel Mark Hughes, league sources said
It appears the Hawks are prepared to lay out some serious money on a premium general manager after getting bounced in the first round to the Washington Wizards. This should come as good news to many Hawks fans desperate for a playoff run.
