bLAck pARty is here to deliver a groovy, 1970s soundscape that is bound to be on repeat. The Arkansas native’s latest project, Hummingbird, has arrived and it is not short on star power. The 12-track project features Gwen Bunn, Jean Deaux, Kari Faux, Saba, Childish Gambino, DMP Jefe and Zoe.
“A visit from a hummingbird is an ethereal experience, highlighting the perpetual motion of life and nature. A series of encounters with these tiny fluttering creatures felt like more than coincidence to LA-based artist Malik Flint, otherwise known as bLAck pARty, whose forthcoming third album, Hummingbird, is dedicated to these uncanny experiences,” a statement from bLAck pARty reads.
Celebrating the release of Hummingbird, bLAck pARty is ready to hit the road. Alongside Sabrina Claudio will embark on a two-month tour across North America. The duo will kick off their tour at Crystal Ballroom on August 25 in Portland, Oregon. From there, they will stop in Seattle, New York, Boston, Denver, San Diego, Nashville and several other cities. Things will come to a close on October 21 in Orlando, Florida.
