Since it’s debut in February of last year, Black Panther has been on a trailblazing run that has etched out its place in history. On opening night, Black Panther brought in a massive $25.8 million and it hasn’t looked back since. As of May 2018, the Marvel film has brought in approximately $1.3 billion and counting. In addition, the film has earned two Golden Globe Award nominations, two SAG Awards and eight Oscar nominations. Above all else, the film has presented a cast of accomplished Black actors and actresses in a way never seen before.
