Late-night talk show host Bill Maher has tested positive for COVID-19. Representatives from HBO have reported that Maher is asymptomatic and “feeling fine.”
“Bill tested positive during weekly staff PCR testing for COVID. He is fully vaccinated and as a result is symptomatic and feels fine. Real Time production has taken every precaution following COVID CDC guidelines. No other staff or crew members have tested positive at this time,” a spokesperson for Real Time With Bill Maher wrote.
Maher was scheduled to tape a new show for May 14. However, these recent developments have postponed that particular show. The cast and crew are hoping to re-tape this week’s episode at a later date. In the meantime, Maher will continue to recover from his most recent diagnosis.
