Yes, HBO is back! Over the last few weeks, HBO has been making some major moves as it begins its new era under AT&T leadership. First, HBO rolled out a new teaser for their new Zendaya led series, Euphoria. Then, the premium network followed up with its own adaptation of Richard Wright’s Native Son. Most recently, HBO announced that Emmy Award winner, Lena Waithe, would join Westworld‘s third season. To top it all off, HBO’s most successful series, Game of Thrones, made its long awaited return yesterday. To kick off a new week, HBO dropped a brand new trailer for one of its most anticipated miniseries, Big Little Lies.
After initially being scheduled as a one season show, Big Little Lies will return for its second season on HBO. The new season will bring back mainstays like Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Shailene Woodley, Zoe Kravitz, and Laura Dern. In addition, Meryl Streep will join the show this season. To get this going, HBO dropped a new teaser for the show’s second season. Also, HBO announced that the new season would premiere on June 9th.
