While there are a lot of questions surrounding the new music coming out tonight, one project can certainly ease any anxiety fans have.
More than a decade after releasing his first studio LP, Big Boi has connected with his longtime friend and collaborator, Sleepy Brown, for a new album called The Big Sleep Is Over. Originally scheduled to drop in September, the 15-track project effortlessly highlights the Atlanta legend’s ability to still give the fans what they need after nearly 30 years in the game. Along the way, he teams up with Killer Mike, Big Rube, Organized Noize, Ceelo Green and Kay-I.
Big Boi is set to take his victory lap this upcoming week in Atlanta. Fresh off of performing during the Atlanta Braves World Series parade, he will make an appearance alongside “Drum Major Mickey” at the Celebration Bowl in Georgia. In the meantime, check out The Big Sleep Is Over below.
