The projected no. 1 overall pick in Thursday’s NBA Draft, Ben Simmons, visited the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last night to discuss the future. Topics included his Nike deal, advice from NBA champion LeBron James, and the draft.
For 76ers fans, the big highlight should be Simmons’ response to easting cheesesteaks from Dalessandro’s in North Philly on set with Fallon. After biting into one, you can hear Simmons say, “I can live in Philly”.
Simmons is fully expected to be drafted first overall by the Sixers on Thursday night. From the looks of it he’s starting to embrace that notion, which should be a good, passionate first step for Simmons with Philly fans.
