The Weeknd, Beyoncé, Drake, Adele, Burna Boy, Tems, Lizzo and Harry Styles are just a few of the artists who performed well in 2022. While all of the aforementioned artists had incredible runs from January through December, it can easily be argued that the MVP of 2022 was none other than Bad Bunny. Whether he was selling out Yankee Stadium, dropping a number one album or chopping it up with LeBron James on The Shop, he was everywhere in 2022. For years, the Puerto Rican artist had been making waves in and outside of the United States, but he took things to a new level in the last year and has cemented himself as a bonified, global superstar.
Taking a victory lap, the Puerto Rican took his world tour through Los Angeles, California for the 2023 Grammy Awards at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 5.
Bad Bunny is not only a performer at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, but he is also nominated for several awards. Un Verano Sin Ti is nominated for “Album of the Year” and “Best Música Urbana Album.” Also, “Moscow Mule” by Bad Bunny is nominated for “Best Pop Solo Performance.” If emerges with a win in for “Album of the Year,” Un Verano Sin Ti will become the first non-English album to win the award. While we wait to see if he will make history, check out his full performance below.
