This past week, iconic vocalist Mary J. Blige hosted the second annual Strength of a Woman Summit in Atlanta, Georgia. Carrying on the legacy of strength, perseverance and vulnerability that Mary J. Blige has displayed throughout her career, 21-year-old vocalist Autumn Corin kicked off her latest project, Autumn In Spring, by playing off of Blige’s 1994 hit, “Be Happy.”
“All I really want is to be happy and find a love that is mine. It’ll be so sweet,” she sings.
The Zooted Music recording artist utilizes the production of her latest project, Autumn In Spring, as blank pages in an audio-driven diary. From track to track, she paints those pages with heartfelt entries about stepping away from what was in her life and joyfully running to what is in her life. Along the way, she takes her listeners step by step through her healing journey in a way that is both brutally honest and vulnerable.
Stepping into the later portion of the spring and the early part of the summer, Autumn has found her voice and helped others find theirs. Autumn In Spring is the perfect way to kick off the warm weather months and blast off into a summer of no regret. Check out the full project below.
