Last weekend, Bobby Shmurda, Travis Scott, Lil’ Baby and a number of other stars shared the stage at Hard Rock Stadium during Rolling Loud. Most notably, DaBaby took the stage after Megan Thee Stallion on the festival’s final night. During his performance, the Charlotte native brought out Tory Lanez to perform their joint record, “SKAT.” However, this performance may have sparked a bit of legal trouble for the Toronto native.
More than a year ago, Tory Lanez was accused of shooting GRAMMY Award winner Megan Thee Stallion in the foot. After the shooting took place, the Toronto native received a court order that required he maintain a certain distance between himself and the award winner.
During his surprise Rolling Loud appearance, Megan Thee Stallion was reportedly backstage when he took the stage at Hard Rock Stadium. As a result, multiple outlets have reported that Miami law enforcement officers were contacted regarding a possible violation of her protective order. In addition, the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office was reportedly notified.
Thus far, neither law enforcement organization has taken any action against the singer-songwriter. A representative for the Toronto native has stated Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion did not make contact and the two were not near each other during the festival.
