
Guard Antoine Davis has withdrawn his name from the transfer portal and will return to play for the Detroit Mercy Titans. While he considered other programs in larger conferences he ultimately decided to use his extra year of college eligibility in the same place he spent his other four years playing college basketball. Considered one of the top players in the transfer portal, Davis was allowed an extra year of college eligibility due to the impact the Coronavirus had on the 2020-21 college basketball season.

During his entire career with the Detroit Mercy Titans Antoine Davis has been a prolific scorer. In his senior year, he averaged 23.9 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game. He led his team in points per game and finished third in the NCAA in points per game this past season. Davis paired those numbers with a field goal percentage of 42.9 percent and a three-point percentage of 37.9 percent.
Antoine Davis has agreed to a one-year NIL agreement with a Chinese basketball manufacture to Produce custom GlowBalls.
The basketballs will feature custom logos and designs by Davis and his marketing team
Told the deal could be worth in excess of six figures.

Antoine Davis had the opportunity to head to a bigger and “better” program but instead made the decision to return to Detroit and give portions of his NIL money to his teammates. While he has been one of the best scorers in college basketball history, this year he could break a few records along the way.
