International star Anthony Joshua has announced that he will defend his heavyweight titles against Kubrat Pulev on June 20th at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The announcement comes right after Deontay Wilder exercised his rematch clause and triggered a July 18, 2020 bout against Tyson Fury.

Joshua is coming off an eventful 2019. Last year, Joshua suffered his first defeat after being knocked out by Andy Ruiz at Madison Square Garden. The two immediately traveled out to Saudi Arabia for a rematch in December. Despite being embarrassed in the first fight, Joshua cruised to an easy, unanimous decision. Moving forward, he will look to a major fight against either Fury or Wilder in the near future.
First, Joshua must take care of business against Pulev. Then, the heavyweight division will move towards having a unified heavyweight champion.
