‘Dark Knight’ & ‘Les Miserables’ Star Anne Hathaway is circling Warner Brothers ‘Sesame Street’ as the next film she is set to star in.
Variety news broke the story:
Sources close to the situation say Hathaway has not decided whether she will film the movie yet as the actress is also fielding an offer for Robert Zemeckis’ ‘The Witches.”
Warner Brothers are set to finance the MGM production and ‘Portlandia’ director Jonathan Krisel is set to helm the live-action. The film will be a musical, which means Hathaway will have an ample amount of experience with her riveting performance in ‘Les Miserables’.
After spending years on PBS, Sesame Workshop signed a five-season deal in 2015 with HBO, and the show continues to air in 2018. Sesame Street is the classic show we all grew to love that aired from 1969 onwards and while there’s no confirmation, the story will revolve around the famous Sesame Street Characters.
