Andy Cohen is set to join Anderson Cooper on CNN’s Annual New Year’s Eve coverage for the third consecutive year. Cooper is returning for his twelfth year. Prior to Cohen, Cooper was joined regularly by comedian Kathy Griffin.
Cooper and Cohen has long had a relationship through their AC live tour. Most recently, they held shows in St. Louis, Missouri. and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
This year, Cohen and Cooper will handle things in New York City at Times Square. Meanwhile, Don Lemon and Brooke Baldwin will handle things in the central time zone from Nashville, Tennessee. Last year, Lemon became a meme when he laughingly rang in the New Year.
He said, “Happy New Year!” From there, he proceeded to demand more drinks.
“Oh my God! I need a little more — pour me a little more, a little more. Perfect. That had a big head on it,” he exclaimed.
Coverage will kick off on December 31st and carry-on in the wee hours of the morning on CNN.
