CNN is reportedly preparing to launch a news magazine-style show with one of its most prominent figures — Anderson Cooper. CNN’s The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper will take deep dives and offer investigations of pertinent news and pop culture topics.
“Powered by CNN’s unmatched global journalism operation, The Whole Story goes behind the headlines, touching every continent and corner of the planet, as we bring our viewers into the heart of the essential stories of our time,” CNN CEO Chris Licht stated.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, CNN’s new show already has a few stories in the works. Sara Sidner is reportedly working on a story that will explore the political and social issues impacting the city of San Francisco. Meanwhile, Pamela Brown is taking a closer look at the legal issues Johnson & Johnson is facing regarding its baby powder. Not to be forgotten, Erica Hill is examining the coronation of King Charles in the United Kingdom.
The Whole Story with Anderson Cooper is set to debut on CNN at 8 p.m. EST on April 16, 2023.
