Few musicians have had quite the start to the year that Gabi “H.E.R” Wilson has had. Kicking off the year, she doubled her win total at the 63rd Annual GRAMMY Awards. Not long afterward, she learned that she would be nominated for “Best Original Song” at the 93rd Academy Awards. Now, she’s taking the stage to perform in front of the biggest names in Hollywood at Union Station. With the help of Tiara Thomas and D’Mile, H.E.R performed “Fight For You” from Judas and the Black Messiah.
This is not the only time that Judas and the Black Messiah will be recognized tonight. Lakeith Stanfield and Daniel Kaluuya are nominated for “Best Supporting Actor” and Sean Bobbitt has earned a “Best Cinematography” nod for his work. Not to mention, the film has been nominated for “Best Picture.”
H.E.R will find out if he takes home the “Best Original Song” award later tonight. For now, check out clips of her performance below.
