It’s about that time! More than four years removed from the release of his sophomore LP, East Atlanta Love Letter, 6LACK has begun teasing his forthcoming LP, Since I Have A Lover. The album’s first single will arrive on March 1, 2023 and the full-length LP is expected to arrive on March 24, 2023.
News of new music from 6LACK is entirely surprising. Just last week, the rather private artist popped back up to share a video of him enlisting “Water Boyz N The Hood” to hand out roses on his behalf for Valentine’s Day.
As previously mentioned, the Atlanta native released his sophomore album back in 2018. Since then, he has delivered an EP and remained visible through collaborations with Young Thug, Lil’ Durk, Jessie Reyez, Denzel Curry and several others. Not to mention, he has kept busy on the festival circuit with performances at Something In The Water and Wireless Festival.
Aside from music, 6LACK has opened up to his fans with a newly released Mindset Collection. The audio adventure explores themes of guilt, fatherhood, love and much more.
“I’ve become very aware recently that my life is just about sharing at this point, and I’m so glad to have this opportunity with Mindset to tell my story,” 6LACK said about the audio project.
“It has helped me so much in my journey to open up and be vulnerable. I hope sharing my story helps anyone who may be going through something similar.”
While we wait for 6LACK to arrive with new music, check out a quick clip of him teaming up with “Water Boyz N The Hood” to provide some Valentine’s Day joy.
