The last few weeks have been eventful to say the least fro Brooklyn’s own Tekashi 6ix9ine. Two weeks ago, the rapper was allegedly kidnapped and robbed at gunpoint after leaving a video shoot. The same day news broke of the kidnapping, Tekashi debuted his newest record with Nicki Minaj. Soon thereafter, Nicki announced that the Trey Way Entertainment artist would join her and Future on tour. In the midst of all of this, the “FeFe” rapper was involved in a back and forth with Chicago’s own, Vic Mensa. Not to mention, he allegedly ran into Chicago rapper, G Herbo, but luckily nothing negative took place.
Going forward, Tekashi 6ix9ine has no plan of slowing down anytime soon. As he prepares to head out on tour with Nicki Minaj and Future, rumors have emerged about a possible collaboration between 50 Cent, Uncle Murda and Tekashi 6ix9ine. According to producer, Blanco, 50 Cent will premiere a collaboration with his fellow New York emcees during the eighth of episode of Power‘s fifth season. On Instagram, Blanco wrote, “Produced By @trilogy x @tellemblancosentya The Song Will Premier On Power S5 Episode 8 Yea?? Yea??Go Get The Strap ??” The announcement comes as no surprise to those who have followed the two as they developed somewhat of a good working relationship. With the co-sign from New York legend, Uncle Murda, this will definitely be one of the best records of the summer. In the meantime, check out our Power recap from last week as we head into episode six of the fifth season.
