Week one of the NBA playoffs and it has been nothing less than eventful. Although some of the series aren’t as competitive as we may have hoped, the basketball action we have gotten has been epic. The whole Mavs vs Thunder series and the constant chirping has been a joy, the back and forth between the Raptors and Pacers have been very intriguing as well. Atlanta took an unexpected 2-0 lead over the Celtics but then Isaiah Thomas turned up and the series is now tied at 2-2.
Some of the bigger news this past week included Adam Silver on moving the all star game away from Carolina, as well as his take on the Hack-A-InsertCenterHere strategy. CJ McCollum won the MIP award and Kawhi won DPOY. Minnesota hired Thibodeau as their new head coach and the Wizards hired Scott Brooks however dont expect Kevin Durant to be coming next). Byron Scott was let go by the Los Angeles Lakers after two consecutively bad seasons. Chris Bosh has no plans of retiring and we may have lost Steph Curry for a chunk of the playoffs.
