21 Savage’s latest album, American Dream, is expected to debut atop the Billboard 200 Chart. According to Hits Daily Double, the project is projected to move anywhere between 130,000 and 150,000 units during its first week.
American Dream serves as 21 Savage’s first solo album since 2018. The 15-track project includes contributions from Summer Walker, Mariah The Scientist, Lil’ Durk, Young Thug, Doja Cat, Travis Scott, Burna Boy and Brent Faiyaz. It also features production from Cardo, Metro Boomin’ and London On Da Track.
“The Atlanta rapper’s third solo LP reminds us that he’s still good at playing the tough guy his fans love,” Mosi Reeves of Rolling Stone wrote.
“If you like blockbuster-level rap music, this one demands your attention. It’s remarkable that a rapper as focused and limited as 21 Savage ever made it to the top tier of stardom, but he’s really developed as an artist over the years,” Tom Breihan of Stereogum added.
Further down the charts, Oriquedeas by Kali Uchis is expected to debut within the top five of the Billboard 200 chart with anywhere from 58,000 through 63,000 units. Also, Kid Cudi’s INSANO is expected to have a top ten finish with a 40-45,000-unit debut.
