Governors Ball is returning to New York, but festival organizers will not be heading over to Randall’s Island Park this summer. Instead, the annual music and arts festival will call Citi Field in Queens, New York home. This time around, J. Cole, Kid Cudi and Halsey will headline the three-day event. The trio of superstars will be accompanied by a number of successful acts including Migos, Jack Harlow, Roddy Ricch, Playboi Carti, J.I.D, YG, Jazmine Sullivan and others. Rounding things out, NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal will provide a DJ set.
This year’s festival follows last year’s scheduled 10-year anniversary event. Billie Eilish, A$AP Rocky, J Balvin and Post Malone served as headliners alongside 21 Savage, DaBaby and Megan Thee Stallion. Much like this year’s festival, it was set at Citi Field in Queens, New York.
Governors Ball adds to an exciting period in New York concerts. Throughout the third and fourth quarter, Bad Bunny and Burna Boy will put on shows at Yankee Stadium and Madison Square Garden. Also, Hot 97’s Summer Jam is set to make its grand return at MetLife Stadium.
