Following an impressive year for an explosive 2018 rookie class, the NBA has revealed the first and second team All-Rookie teams.
Though we are yet to know who will take home Rookie of the Year honors this season with the delayed awards this year, it’s fair to say it’s a two-man race between guards Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell. Unsurprisingly, both unanimously made the all-rookie first team along with fellow standouts Kyle Kuzma, Lauri Markkanen, and Jayson Tatum.

Each team is comprised of two guards and three frontcourt players and based on what we saw this year, the first-team is accurate. A slight case could’ve been made for Dennis Smith Jr. or Lonzo Ball to make the first team, but certainly not over the likes of Simmons or Donovan Mitchell.
Either way, Mitchell and Ball were able to secure a spot on the second team along with forwards Josh Jackson, Bogdan Bogdanovic, and John Collins. All ten rookies are more than worthy of this recognition and along with others will set the foundation for the next generation of superstars in the NBA.
