070 Shake is not new to the spotlight. The New Jersey native has worked with Kanye West, Madonna and all of the greatest stars of the last few decades. Still, there’s something that feels a bit different about her latest body of work. In fact, 070 Shake recently told Brenton Blanchet of Complex that her new album, You Can’t Kill Me, feels like a part of her in a way that no previous project can compare.
“I always feel that pressure, because I’ve created this from scratch, and spent a lot of time on it. Most of my attention in life has gone to this,” 070 Shake told Blanchet about the lead up to releasing You Can’t Kill Me.
“It’s deep. It actually feels even more deep this time, because I spent more time on it, and it was way more detailed this time. So it’s just a part of me.”
The 14-track project is largely led by 070 Shake with one guest appearance from Christine and the Queens. Behind the scenes, Dave Hamelin and Mike Dean offered production. Now, it’s time for the world to hear what 070 Shake and company have been cooking up. Check out the complete project below.
