A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie has been the talk of New York City over the last few months. His quick accession to the top of the music scene in NYC has garnered him the attention of all the OG’s and radio stations. Just within the last two weeks, Jadakiss, Fabolous and Remy Ma all remixed A Boogie’s “Bag On Me” and “My Shit” records. Since November, when A Boogie officially started to take music serious, he’s already approaching 30 million listens on his Sound Cloud. With numbers that high in such a short span, labels look to take advantage and sign artist to 360 deals, but A Boogie smartened up.
It recently came out that A Boogie signed with Atlantic Records, but thanks to this Shade45 interview with KaySlay, we now know that it’s more than a deal.
At the 3:15 mark, KaySlay ask A Boogie is he’s signed to Atlantic and he declines saying he’s signed to himself, HighBridge The Label. Digging for more information KaySlay gets Don Q to blurt out that they have partnered up as A Boogie says they are associating the label with Atlantic.
