Young Thug last released a Slime Language series project in 2018. The YSL sponsored project gave a spotlight to rising artists like Tracy T, Strick Nechie and Lil’ Keed. Two years later, it looks like another Slime Language installment is on the way.
“Slime Language 2 8-16,” the Atlanta artist tweeted Wednesday evening.
With his birthday just a few weeks away, the YSL leader is offering the fans a gift. On August 16, it appears that Slime Language 2 is on the way.

Unfortunately, the Atlanta native deleted the tweet shortly thereafter. There could be a few mixes and clearances that need to be handled, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed and hoping that the project is on the way.
Young Thug is riding high off the release of his sophomore album, So Much Fun, last summer. He also dropped a joint project with Chris Brown earlier this year. A Slime Language 2 would complete his three-peat. Wait for more details to come from the Atlanta based imprint regarding their upcoming compilation album.
